One of the biggest problems I have with digital is that I'm not good at drawing in photoshop. I really liked the concept of my fighter butnot how she turned out so I redid her in pencil first and then in photoshop. It took about 3 hours total.
I really liked the armor it has a real good reflective quality, I think you did a much better job making the armor look ornate here. You might try taking the shadow tones down in value a notch or two on the next one, I guess it all really depends on the lighting/shadows your going for.
